Teh rules and guidlines

This is the official rulebook. Read them well, and every once in a while, as they are subject to change. If they do change in any way, it will be listed in the "Updates" section of the forum.

Here are some rules for posting:

Spam – No, we don't care about your latest phone services, domain listings, or whatever it is you're selling. We also do not want to know about your website, services, company, organisation, or business idea. Spam advertisers will be banned.

Do not reply to any spam thread. Please leave it to the moderators.

Thread Searches – To avoid duplicate threads, please make use of the search function before creating new threads.

Impersonating a Moderator – This is highly frowned upon.

No Flaming or Trolling – Verbally attacking members, inducing a verbal attack, or inducing a flame war. Please, if you disagree with something, try to do so with grace.

Bumping Threads – Avoid bumping threads which have been inactive for a long time unless it is relevant. Bumping threads to gain the forum's interest is highly, HIGHLY, frowned upon.

Locked Threads – Do not make threads asking why a thread has been locked. If the reason was not explained (which it usually will) please contact a moderator if you have any questions.

Artificially Raising Post Count - Please do not spam or do a massive post run in numerous threads just to increase your post count. If you're posting only to increase your post count it is usually quite noticeable and your posts are liable to be deleted by a moderator.

Picture or Link Only Posts – Don't post only a single link or a single or bunch of pictures, take the time to explain WHY you're posting them.

Illicit Discussions – Threads or posts discussing illegal activities will be deleted.

Inappropriate Content – We welcome users of all ages to come online and use this forum. So please, no racism, pornography, violent images, etc. Swearing is allowed, but we will expect you to keep it at a reasonable level. If you have to Uber swear, cover it with the following: -WERT-

Celebrity Talk - It is allowed, but one argument, and I'll contraban these discussions.... I r sirius!

No Religion, No Politics – This is a gaming forum where we can all share our love of games. Discussions about these topics almost always end with the sharp edge of the blunt banhammer. If you are looking for a forum to discuss your religious or political interests, please, go find another forum.

Here are some other guidelines about how to behave on GodlyGaming(TM):

First of all, If a sub-forum has rules or you see a thread saying "Please read before posting". Do yourself and everyone a favor and read it, and acknowledge it.

This one is about pressing the "quote" button. If you are quoting the most recent post there is absolutely no need to quote them. Another thing you should avoid doing is quoting an extremely old, extremely long post, just to say "haha" or "lulz". When quoting please remove videos or pictures, it's not necessary for them to be posted twice. It makes things very hard to read.

If you have something trivial to ask, Google was invented for reason.

Another thing you should do is lurk more. A lot more, saves you asking silly questions later.

The suggestions thread is there, USE IT! don't make a new thread about your ideas in a different forum when they could easily be put in the suggestion forum. It saves our wonderful mods some legwork.

This is the internet, people can, and will, say mean things to you. They might be insulting your favorite band, or your idols. Just don't get butt-hurt over it. ignore them, or even fight back, but if you do keep it reasonable.

Again, don't make threads complaing about things like spam, or advertising. The mods will deal with it, and it will keep you out of our bad books.

Yes, incase you were wondering, you are allowed to swear, but seriously don't overdo it.

This one is about posting pictures. When you do it, firstly make sure it's reasonable and not breaking any rules. If you want to post a picture of Jessica Alba, I'm sure there are pictures of her when she is not half naked. Please, please, please, don't post massive pictures that are 4000 x 3000 pixels. They just wont fit, you will only be able to see half of the picture and most importantly they make things look untidy. Stick to around 500 x 400. The same applies for videos.

I check my spelling before each post for optimum grammer and spelling. I urge you to do the same. Especially if you are posting a long thread and people have to read it, they don't want to be counting the errors at the end. People will also laugh at you for having the linguistic skills of a 5 year old.
